Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFoundry Caster – 1st & 2nd ShiftCary, ILA growing manufacturer in Cary, IL is hiring Foundry Casters to join its expanding operation. We currently have multiple openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts and are looking for hardworking individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term manufacturing career.No foundry experience is required. We are willing to train candidates with manufacturing, construction, roofing, mechanical, warehouse, production, or other hands-on industrial experience who are eager to learn and willing to work in a physically demanding environment.What You'll DoAs a Foundry Caster, you'll be responsible for helping produce precision cast components through a variety of foundry operations, including:Preparing steel molds for castingPreheating molds using torchesPreparing and cleaning molten aluminumLoading subassemblies into moldsPouring castings and monitoring production processesPerforming quality checks throughout the processCutting, cleaning, and grinding cast partsUsing hand tools and measuring devicesMaintaining equipment and work areasSupporting production goals while working safelyEmployees are cross-trained throughout the foundry and have opportunities to learn multiple work centers and advance their skills.What We're Looking ForManufacturing, production, construction, roofing, landscaping, warehouse, military, mechanical, or industrial experience preferredAbility to work in a hot manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyComfortable bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the shiftBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to read work orders and follow instructionsExperience using basic hand tools such as wrenches, drills, and screwdriversBasic computer skills for production reporting and data entryStrong work ethic and willingness to learnWhy Join Us?Long-term career opportunity with a growing manufacturerExtensive cross-training and advancement opportunitiesTeam-oriented culture with strong leadership supportCompany-provided PPE and safety equipmentUniform program providedOpportunity to learn multiple manufacturing processes and skilled tradesSchedule1st ShiftMonday – FridayTypical hours: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PMSaturday overtime available2nd ShiftMonday – Thursday2:30 PM – 1:00 AMFriday overtime available as neededCompensation$18.00 – $22.00 per hour$1,000 Sign-On Bonus15% Shift Differential for 2nd ShiftAdditional summer premium available during peak seasonOvertime opportunities availableApply TodayWe are looking for dependable individuals who want more than just a job.
